What is the EB-5 Visa Program?
The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program allows foreign nationals to obtain a U.S. Green Card by investing in a U.S. business that creates at least 10 full-time jobs for American workers.
How much do I need to invest for an EB-5 visa?
You must invest $800,000 in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA) or $1,050,000 in a non-TEA project.
Who can be included in the EB-5 application?
Your spouse and unmarried children under 21 can be included in the same EB-5 petition and receive Green Cards along with you.
Is there an age limit to apply for an EB-5 visa?

No. If you invest through a Regional Center, you take on a passive role and are not required to manage day-to-day operations.

A Regional Center is a government-approved organization that pools EB-5 capital into large-scale projects, making it easier for investors to meet job creation requirements.

Typical I-526E petition processing takes 24 to 36 months, but timelines can vary based on country of origin, USCIS workload, and project type.
What is a Targeted Employment Area (TEA)?
A TEA is a rural area or one with high unemployment. Investing in a TEA qualifies you for the lower minimum investment of $800,000.
Will my investment be refunded?
The investment must remain “at risk” to qualify for EB-5. Many reputable projects have structured exit strategies, but returns or refunds are not guaranteed.
Can I apply for U.S. citizenship through EB-5?
Yes. After holding a Green Card for 5 years, you may apply for U.S. citizenship, provided you meet all residency and eligibility requirements.
